Instrument panel and rea Lights problems?
Folks, anyone had problems with the instrument panel lights come and go when on, and rear lights that quit when on BUT they are on when pushing the keyless ****? Is it computer crab? Thanks for any help!

The bulbs in the back end have two filaments in them. When you oress the FOB I thnk that uses the brighter filaments - the ones you would see when you pressed the brake. The dimmer filamants are the ones you would see when you have the headlights on. I would check fuses for the running lights/instrument panel first, then I would suspect a possible grounding problem. I would not normally think this was a computer problem, but if everything else checked out first, then it may be the computer.
I would try to find a corvette expert in your area to take it to - dealers often look for a simple fix, no matter if it is the right thing or not, and certainly are not worried about how much it costs you.
