[Z06] Short Shifter ?

Short Shifter ?

Do any of the AM short throws have the sound isolation like the OEM shifter? That was the first thing I noticed when I installed the Hurst.

I also have the new B&M, no noise or vibration and a very solid positive feel into each gear.

B&M 45044 here (that's the new model). Absolutely love it, no noise/heat/vibration/etc issues at all and the shifts are nice and crisp.

I had a BPP shifter on my Z06 and love the crisp and precise shifts, but it was a noisy sucker. I have the new B&M on my current ride and love it. All the performance I was looking for and no rattles!

I wanted a shorter shifter too.
So I chopped off an inch.
Amazingly, there is no difference in noise level!

I personally don't mind a lttle gear noise. I like the balanced sound, some engine noise, some exhuast, and at low speed, plenty of gear noise. That's what a street race car should sound like.
