Default 2000 Corvette Conv. Rear Window Problems

It appears that my rear window is starting to sag on my 2000 Corvette convertible. You can see a gap between the top and the window at the top of the window. Has anyone else had this problem? Can this be fixed or is a new top the only cure (top is in great shape).

Default New Top?

Heck, if it means $BUYING$ a new top.....glue with some contact cement or just about anything prior to giving up first. How about finding an awning shop in the yellow pages and see if they have some purpose built glue for the canvas? Let us convertible top owners know what you came up with and Via con Dios!

Default convertible rear window

I had the same issue with my 2001. I found another thread on the forum that suggested ordering Rhino glue from rhinoglue.com, which I did and it has held up fine, in the meantime as I waited for the order to come in I used two way tape from home depot and surprisingly it only took about 20 minutes and held super tight for the week I had it on before the glue arrived. Poor man's way of keeping the pressure over night on the glass was to grab a broom stick and a towel and place it against the dash and the window, hey...it worked.
