Local Chevy dealer quoted me $300 last week if I removed the bumper and brought it in myself separately. If I did not remove it myself $120 extra. All of this pricing was based on the fact that my car is black. They said black is the only color they can get away with not blending into surrounding panels.
This car would be Pewter...if I buy it. I don't think it looks bad enough for a full repaint but I haven't seen it in person yet...just pictures. Everything else looks/sounds good so I just wanted to know what I'd have invested if it is bad enough to really bug me.

I just had the door bottoms, rockers and mirrors painted. He also buffed out the whole car ...for $1100.00. I would think $250 - $400 would be a good price for quality work.
To get it done right, I would say $800 for 3-stage paint, several hundred less for two-stage...if there's no body work.
Yea, doesn't look like any body work, really it may just be able to be touched up but not having seen it in person yet I'm not sure so I wanted a worst case scenario.

That's all mine was. No body work. I had just went right through the clear-coat with a buffer and had to re-paint the nose. I don't think I'd look at $800 as the "worst case" but rather as the standard.
