PCV Catch Can Fitting Is Missing
I Wanted to install my Elite Engineering Catch Can on my 2002 Z today. Couldn't because I'm missig the fitting that goes between the PCV valve rubber boot and the supplied hose. All the other hardware was sent. Is this fitting something that I can purchase at the local hardware store? I don't know what it looks like. Is it some type of straight brass fitting? Is it tappered?

I had the same problem. PVC tubing will work. I made a trip to Home Depot, bought 3/8" OD plumbing line.
Might be easier and cheaper to go to a hardware store and see if they will cut off a piece of PVC, copper, or other tubing. Piece missing is only an inch long. I would buy something longer to give you options.

I just installed my can this weekend. I have an 03 Z. I bought it used and it came with braided lines.
The instructions showed no PCV valve, so I removed it when I installed the can. Was that the right thing to do?
