I Wanted to install my Elite Engineering Catch Can on my 2002 Z today. Couldn't because I'm missig the fitting that goes between the PCV valve rubber boot and the supplied hose. All the other hardware was sent. Is this fitting something that I can purchase at the local hardware store? I don't know what it looks like. Is it some type of straight brass fitting? Is it tappered?
Thanks,
Silverbird
I had the same problem. PVC tubing will work. I made a trip to Home Depot, bought 3/8" OD plumbing line.
Might be easier and cheaper to go to a hardware store and see if they will cut off a piece of PVC, copper, or other tubing. Piece missing is only an inch long. I would buy something longer to give you options.
That fitting was not in my kit either from them. I just used a straight vacuum line fitting to connect them and it works fine. I was too lazy to just cut a small diameter pipe for it.
