Dyno??? That shift point was pretty high too huh?

I'm thinking for as long as that took, that is one seriously long damn runway!

It tells you at the end of the video that the runway is nearly three miles long.

I dunno.
The 0-60 time was about 4 sec and other times seemed about right.
There was more ambient noise (like ground noise) that I wouldn't expect on a dyno.
Shift points did seem high (via the tach). (BTW what is red line on that car, 7K?)
Audio did not sound like it was revving 7000rpm to me.
Seemed to be pulling all the way up to 200 and then shut off. No other vette (stock) can pull straight up to red line.
Full trip took 49 seconds (about). By my math (which is approximate) it is possible to do in a little over 2 miles. Could you still get stopped in the remainder?

I think until I saw the video out the window I would cautiously throw the

I didn't hear the kind of road noise I get at 140 + mph. The mic was still picking up the rev of engine rest of the background quieter.

Do you actually thing a stock C5's top speed is 175mph or whatever it is? They can go faster than what GM says the top speed is.

You might want to look closer. That looks like 200 to me.

200 is the very bottom tick mark. Don't think he got to there.

The camera is focused on the speedo and tach, but seems like some indication of movement, shadows, etc. should be evident. Alas, none. The quick text message at the end sez it was done at a Naval Base. Only one I know of that would remotely qualify (assuming the Navy would allow a Corvette to use its runway) is Fallon NAS in Fallon, NV. Its runway is a hair over 14,000 feet. Not quite 3 miles.
