The wife and I drove down to Torrance today to see a car show. It was about an hours drive, with 1/2 of it being on PCH. So in the 30 minutes to took to get to the frwy, we saw maybe a dozen vettes on the PCH. Did the wave thing to all of them, and nobody responded.
Folks, don't miss out on the spirit of the thing. When somebody acknowledges you and your ride, show some pride and acknowledge them back. It's part of our history to do so.
I will wave if I see you. You have to realize that not all Corvette owners know about the wave and they are not all on this forum. There is a '59 Vette running around here that I wave to everytime I see it and the owner never waves back. I know he can see my car, you would have to be blind not to see a yellow Corvette.
I find it VERY hard to believe that a Vette owner for any time at all would not know about the wave. With my first Vette I learned the wave
the first two days of ownership.

My day was just the opposite. Made an 80 mile round trip today to go mushroom hunting with my brother-in-law, saw four C-4s and a C-6 and all either returned my wave or initiated one that I returned. It was a great top down day and mine was the only Vert in the mix.
I have waved for forty years, sometimes I don't see a Vette til it's too late or vice versa. Stuff happens as we say in construction. Anyway here's one from San Dimas in case I'm talking on the phone or switching stations or watching the idiot behind me or.........
