Default Column Lock~Again

After having read numerous forums on this topic, which spans several years, and seeing that GM still can't get this resovled who at GM corporate do we need to contact in order to get this fixed once and for all. Sure the bypass is the trick, but it still doesn't fix the problem. You run the risk of taking your car in for service only to have someone perform the latest bulletin which really doesn't fix the problem. Or does it?

Wouldn't this be considered a Lemon Law issue in some states?

It would probably take a class action lawsuit by C5 owners to ever get the column lock issue settled once-and-for-all.

I'm wondering if contacting the better business bureau would help any.

If its only been fixed once then I dont think it qualifies it for the Lemon Law. Each state might be different but here is Floridas Lemon Law from the BBB website. I agree with proracr about the class action lawsuit but it good luck if you try that approach. Best thing to do is just do the bypass.
