Painted Screens
Anybody painted there front ZO6 screens, brake duct screens or cove screens black? If so please post pics

I had them painted black for a couple years. Paint didn't want to stay on the stainless. Always touching them up.
Dis-assembled the screens, soaked the paint off in acetone, re-assembled the screens using rtv sealant and epoxy. Just like new, and personally, I like them better because you can't see behind the screens. All black shows dirt , bug guts, etc.

I painted mine with the GM matching spray paint. It looks good and lasts well. I don't have pictures.

Just washed them. I typically remove them from time to time to respray.
