Default '08 Vette and Pricing question

When is the 08 vette coming out, and we should expect the C5 prices to drop a little, how much do you think the current vette prices will drop on average?

I'm starting to look for a C5 vette to call my own and I figure if I have patience I can save some money.

Best place to post this question would be OFF TOPIC, but the best time of the year to buy is typically the cooler months (my opnion) and to answer your question about the price of the C5 dropping? I think we are not going to see the prices dip much lower than they have outside of the normal depreciation with mileage and years passing.

The '08s will probably start shipping around July. I agree that C5 prices will probably perform just as before - still drop a bit.

Yeah, unfortunately for me the time i can start to afford a vette is dead summer. Oh well I'll just have patience and wait until winter to get one :x.

Just be patient and shop around. If you are not in a hurry you will find the car for you. I have heard some great stories about folks finding some amazing cars and deals.

Look around a bit, I'm sure a deal is out there to be had. As far as the prices, they are stable in my opinion. I was looking to add a mid 90's C4 recently and noticed the prices were the same as they were years ago. Miles are the largest depreciation factor, good luck

Time to buy is now, or wait for winter. Cars are coming out of hibernation on the east coast.

Here's a different kind of question..... how much do you think just the LS3 engine will cost and will that reduce the sell price of the LS2 engine?
