Exposed my 2000 vert to rain today for the first time since I bought it 8 months ago. I know, I know, WTH did I do that? Well, I discovered this freakin, right wing, gun-toting, lunatic fringe, Christian Taliban, wacko, Rush Limbaugh loving, LEAK!!!!!! dripping and hitting me in the shoulder in a most annoying fashion.
If you're such a liberal, why don't you just accept the fact that the seal isn't holding up and give peace a chance? Perhaps the leak is pregnant and recently came to your car to get free medical care and to live tax free. Put a daisy in the leak, maybe that'll stop it.
PS. Ted Kennedy's car killed more people than my gun has...

Shouldn't you be recycling every part of the car and walking to work? You should be supporting your car's form of expression, not telling it what to do with it's body. By the way, I removed the cats from my exhaust system because I wanted to increase it's "carbon footprint." Enjoy your leak.

Carefully look at the seal, especially the corner. When re-installing the top, many times the rear of the driver's (vertical) window seal, where it hits the targa seal, gets folded under, leaving a HUGE gap. When looking at that seal, the vertical seal it should meet the horizontal seal, ON TOP. You should see a triangular piece of the vertical seal resting on the targa seal, if not, release your top, and straighten it. Getting seals staraight when reinstalling my top is one of my new regimens! If you still have trouble, do a search on "window tip-in adjustment" it's VERY EASY, and doesn't require door panel removal. Good Luck!

I've looked at it carefully to see why it would be leaking right there and don't see anything obvious. Window seems to hit rubber seal tight enough, no tears or rips in top, water not soaking through, etc...
Anyone have a similar experience? Some thoughts maybe?
