Default Muffler heat temp.???
Does anyone know how hot the mufflers get? I bought some 600 degree spray paint for my calipers and want to use it on the mufflers too. Not sure if 1200 degree paint is overkill.

Should be fine on the mufflers. If it was the headers or anywhere around the engine then you would need the 1200 degree paint.

So if I'm driving down the road and I have fire coming out the back I can send you the bill? Actually if it's at night it might look kinda cool
