Default First Experiences with "The Wave"

So I've had my car for a little while now and I've been using it more now that the conditions are much better. I've got to say every time I see another vette on the road I get a giant and feel butterflies in my stomach. Such a great feeling knowing they've got that same grin on their face!

Was behind a beautiful yellow Vette this afternoon while going to put gas in my baby. He turned off and I gave him the "Wave" and the "Honk".

Even if it is NOT a Vette I wave. I've seen beautiful Chargers, Vipers, Stangs, 300M's, that I'll wave at. More times than not, they'll wave back. They have forums and message boards like ours that talk about upgrading, modifying, etc with the passion we do. For that fact, I respect their rides as well. And I'll give them a wave.

The wave is cool. Seemed more people did it back in the 80's when I had my first 2 Vettes but thats ok because that means the people that do it NOW are REAL Vette people and thats all that really matters.
I'm still getting about 80% waves which isn't really bad at all.

I always wave too. If someone has a nice car, I give them a big thumbs up. Most everyone seems really happy to get the recognition.

you guys are lucky, here in the Bay Area I never get a wave, most of the time people just stare at me like I'm a chump when I wave to them, oh well I still love my car and will wave back if someone waves to me, but forget waving first, I'm tired of the wierd looks.
