Hey guys, battery died in my C5 and I need to program my keyless entry remote. Anybody, have directions or a link to the instructions they would not mind sharing? Thanks!

Today, a fobs seller tried to program for my 97 C5 but he cant....
He ask me for oem cd player but I bought the car with a aftermarket stereo!!!!!.
I tried to install a 97 Camaro OEM that is the same, but, the past owner cut the conections, so I can´t install the Camaro´s one nor the oem of Vette....

Is there any other way to program the fob?
I'm not sure what all that has to do with your fobs. All you need is the correct fob and the DIC as described in above post. He's probably trying to program a 2001 and up fob to the 97 and it can't be done. You must have the correct fob to start with.

Why would he think the radio had anything to do with it?
Oh, and in the case of the original poster,,,, after a dead battery I believe all you need to do is hold the lock andunlock buttons down for a few seconds and the car will "remember" your fob. I believe the long process is only necessary when programming a NEW fob.

Im in Mexico, so I use the languaje Spanish and in that option said program "llave" in english is KEY but I change to English and said FOB TRANING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that the dealer didn notice that and think just like me, that, that command was another..... I´ll try tomorrow to programm the fob
