That's correct, the amount of light that is actually let through the tint.

I got mine done in 5% limo. Illegal in Illinois but car is only driven when its nice outside so window are down most of the time.

Getting my Z done next week, my guy sands the dots with 1500 wet & dry, he says that allows the film to stick without bubbles.
