Default Brake pad recommendation?

I am a busy guy normally, and I just got around this last weekend to reading some old Corvette Fever magazines that I had laying around. Low and behold they did a segment on performance pads that won't break the bank. They mentioned X-rated pads from a company called Dazed or something. I searched yahoo, and found www.dezod.com was the place.

Now the editor gave some decent reviews on the pads saying they had minimal dust, good bite etc. Anyone else rocking thesE?

If you are not an Autocrosser, grab a set of AC Delco Ceramics. They come with new sliders, shims and lubricant... can be found for under $110 for all four corners! I just changed mine last week.

I have ceramic pads... THEY SUCK. You will get brake fade. Worst mod I have ever done. Brake hard from 80 mph 3 times and see what happens. The car will not stop on the 3rd try.
I know that this is not everyday type braking. But you never know when you might need them to work like they should.
I will be putting on Hawk HP Plus pads.

Well I contacted Dezod and they said the pads are not ceramic, but ferro-carbon like Hawk. And per the salesman "A blended middle-ground between the HPS and Plus"

I'm running a set of Hawk HPS pads on mine. They seem to do a very good job and not a whole lot of dusting.

I think a lot of people get confused on this one.

There are two types of Hawk pads, the HPS, and the HPS Plus. The HPS is a good combo of street and performance, where the HPS Plus is more of a track pad(dusty, noisey).

Does this sound right?

I had the HAWK HPS and hated the squeaking.

I am running the AC DELCO Duramax pads and love them.
