Symptom - When braking for a stop, the car jerks hard right and then will "dog track" (You can feel the car running out of line) and I have to keep the wheel turned left a bit just to go straight. It will correct itself in a few hundred feet. I thought maybe it was a brake problem. Then I found when cornering, with no brakes the same thing happens and you can hear the rear tires braking. I assumed this might be an Active Handling problem, but when I de-active it I get the same results.
Now, after several days of research here on CF and retesting I have 2 possible causes. One is a bad EBCM and the other is a possible bad Steering position sensor.
If I turn off the Active Handling, does that rule out the EBCM? I am taking it to the dealer tomorrow. It is an 03 with about 50k on it and a GMPP. Any insight would be appreciated.

Well since you got the warranty the dealer is your best bet. But from what it sounds like you have a mechanical problem at hand. Such as faulty brake caliper etc, loose wheel or suspension component.
An Electrical issue will throw a code and the fact that even after you turn the Active Handling off the symptoms persist keeps on pointing towards something mechanical.
