I noticed that it only takes about an inch of lift on the trailing edge of just one sun visor to eliminate 60-70% of the buffeting that occurs with the top off at speed. Has anyone devised a good looking method to pull up on that trailing edge to stop the buffeting? TIA
i use these things when i take the top off . they really help, they cut down on all the swirling wind in the car and it's easier to talk. the only thing negative i would say about them is that they raise the deck lid about 1 1/2" and it's a little hard to see out the back glass o yea and somebody is going to tell you ,you left your trunk open
When you find a solution Dave, let me know! This is one part of the coupe that I could do without. Around town its ok but on the highway at times I put the windows up to reduce the noise. At this point I dont want to use the decklid latches to raise it up, but I have heard those are a big help.
Hmmmm . . . gotta try that with the visors. I usualy just put em down to keep em clean, but like to drive with the top off around town. Maybe the visor thing will help for short jaunts on the highway. Thanks

And yes, you're always going to hear the inevitable trunk comment from someone!

You can try it but you will tire of holding up the visor for long periods of time. It also keeps one hand occupied; not good for control of vehicle. I don't like the idea of having the trunk open. Thanks for the PM, Maxfli's5.
