Ride control, is it really working?
98 coupe, 6-speed, 67k miles, ride-control. I bought the car in March this year. I have driven the car at all three settings "TOUR", "PERF" and "SPORT" but could never tell the difference between the three modes. Only once I felt that pickup was better in TOUR than SPORT, though it should have been the other way round OR maybe I was in the wrong gear. Since there are no beeps, chimes or messages on the dash I am not sure if my ride-control is really working

That control only affects the dampening of the shocks. You really can't tell difference. People will say pick a stretch of curvy road and try all 3 settings to see the difference....very subtle though...

the best way to feel it is to make a rapid switch from tour to sport (skipping the middle setting). If you can't feel it then, you need to see a neurologist...
