Option "B". My other vehicle is a Titan, beautiful truck with lots of power. I feel like I've got the best of both worlds, one for summer and one for winter.
I bought the C5 as the daily driver so that I would not have to drive my truck every day. How anyone lives without a truck, I will never know.
Why people don't drive cars that get 25-30 mpg, look great and make people stare, I don't get either. Why would you want to drive some piece of crap for the same results. When I bought my C5 it was either that or a new Honda Civic. Ok, so the Honda gets marginally better mileage. And also gets stopped by every cop in town looking for street racers. No one even looks at the Vette doing 85 on the freeway.

Because not everyone lives in the climates where you can drive the C5 year round, like us. But otherwise. I live without a truck because I can barrow my Dad's. That way I don't have to pay for it, or find somewhere to park it. I just leave more gas in it than I picked it up with. And he gets to drive my Z. But no way would I want to drive a truck everyday. It's like a chore instead of a treat.

I kept my Vette and bought a new DD for me and my wife. She has a company vehicle that she drives to work, so I get to drive the new car.
It is very luxurious and has a lot of nice features, not to mention plenty of power.....
We kicked around the idea of getting a second C5 for the wife to drive (with an A4 and in one of her two favorite colors - Electron Blue or Magnetic Red), but in the end she wanted to sit up higher and nixed the idea of another Vette.
We compromised, but I'm extremely happy with the choice....
If given the choice of A) one new C6 or B) keep your C5 and get a 2nd car like a new daily driver or classic car .... The asssumption is the loaded C6 is worth about the same as a C5 plus a 2nd car(around $55k)...I'd go with "B" since I need a DD for the snowy northeast winters..
I'd go with B since that's exactly what I did...2nd car a Hyundai Santa fe DD. It lets me appreciate the vette even more when I do drive it....
