Need help

My temp guage that lets you know the outside temp, is acting up. It was working fine until today. It always says 56 degrees right now the out side temp is 73. Is there a sensor that can be changed or a fuse. Thanks ......

Most likely the sensor is bad or has come disconnected. It is located on the bottom passenger side of the radiator shroud. You can see it from under the front of the car.

If it is bad, it is a plug and play replacement.

Thanks Guys, I just went out and drove it for a few miles and it started working again. Thanks....

Might also be a little corrosion in the connector pins or maybe a sensor that's in it's last throes.

My Rule for these things is drive on the highway for 5 miles, subtract 3 from the reading and that is your outside air temp

New senser needed! I would suspect!

Do you have a friend with a Vette you could swap out the senser to see if that makes the differance?
