i was thinkin about cuttin my cat converters, but wasnt sure, about what i would need to put in their place to keep from havin a code pop up,or is it a bad idea
Tuning the rear 02 sensor codes out is the best solution. If that is not an easy proposition for you, then I would say the work involved plus the expense to have someone tune it isn't worth the minimal gains, especially if you don't have headers.

thanks for the input iwas just curious my only reason for doin it would be to make it louder
I ran no cats with stock manifolds. made the car louder ( which I liked) and they welded 2 pipes in the cats place. I had to have O2 Sims so it wouldnt throw a code. now I have them turned off by my tuner. Good Luck!
i have no cats in my car and if it was not for running e-85 the smell would be unbearable. I started my car up this spring in the garage with the gas i stored the car with, and my eyes were on fire, i might of gotten high from the fumes but i cant remember.
