Just weighing in on the Kumho exsta runflats. Bought a set from Tirerack.com and slapped those babies on today. When i left my driveway I gave it a little toe and did half a doughnut in the street.
Then i remembered i have to wear them in a little. They are the oiliest tires i've ever seen. Right now the slightest nudge breaks the tires loose. I did have it on the highway for a bit and did notice a huge reduction in noise over the Goodyear RFs. I also love the way they look with a semi gloss shine to 'em. No twitching of the wheel over expansion joints either. Pretty smooth ride also. So far i'm quite happy with them and for $802 for the set my pocket isn't complaining either.
I have Kumho Tires also and the slightest nudge breaks them loose also (especially bad when turning and nudging the gas)
I've owned it 3 months and assumed the vette engine was just way to powerful for the tires. I always leave Active handling on so atleast I'm pointed in the right direction...
