suspension tabs

suspension tabs

i recently check my shocks ,thanks to the advice from this board, due to rough handling and i found yellow tabs hanging from the shocks. how do i remove them? just yank them out? advice?

okay..tried yanking them, and using pliers..but they would not come out. any other suggestions besides asking Arnold for help?

Jack the car up, let the suspension hang so that the weight of the car isn't sitting on it. Push up the shock boot and you can pull it out with 2 fingers.
