Default what should performance be with new mods?

Im selling my street rod to buy my wife a new car but I still have the need for speed. [even at 60 yrs old!] I have a bone stock 97 with 2.73 rear now but I am going to go to 3.43s or 3.70s. Also I will be running a 100 shot and a black wing and slicks. The car feels like a mid 13 car now. What do any of you with the same or close mods run in the 1\4 and 0-60? I'm really going to miss my old rod so I need at least some kind of a decent time to help me into old age!
Thanks

I would guess 1/4 mile about 13.2 and 0-60 about 4.5!!

Should be much faster than that in the quarter! Stock z51 with 3.15 will do 13.2 in the quarter (CAI alone = 13 with good traction). With that low of gearing and slicks/intake your 0-60 should be 4.2 to 4.5? I would say mid 12's - but im just guessing. I’m sure some members can tell you first hand what to expect. The 100 shot with low gears may even put in low 12's?? I think with practice and DR you will be surprised.

With the gears, 100 shot, tires and a tune etc. you should be well into the 12s. That should be a fun car. Of course if you could add a blower you would have something you'd never get tired of. Ask me how I know...

Thanks for the info. If I can get this old 97 to run mid 12"s I will be happy! Thats enough to shut down a few Mustangs anyway! My old coupe would run low 11s on a 100 shot and I am really going to miss the rush.

I had a 97 with 3.73 gears, breathless cold air and 100 shot of nos and in the 1/8 mile I was running mid to high 7's at a speed of 94-96 mph with drag tires.
