Is it just my C5
Two days later the hazard switch reared its ugly little head.
Two weeks later the right electric door motor died.
One week later the left front headlamp would go down and back up when the headlamps went off. Replaced the plastic gear in the motor.
One month later left front parking lamp quit. Bulb shattered! (What were the engineers doing when they designed the car so you have to pull a tire to replace a headlamp?)
Two weeks later oil pressure sending unit checked out of the hotel. (Same engineers must have placed the oil pressure sensor as the parking lamps)
3 weeks later tire pressure sensor died.
2 weeks later left front parking lamp blew out again. Got the drill figured out now.
1 week later another oil pressure sensor died. (This thing has turned into a real hangar queen)
Lost another tire pressure sensor three weeks later when tire blew off rim. (Wow, talk about excitement at rush hour on I-495 in Virginia)
Shifter lamp burned out. Plastic holder had melted and bonded to housing.
Only real mechanical issue was the left rear wheel bearing had to be replaced. The vehicle appears to have been in an accident, as looking under the left side to the rear of the drivers seat there is an irregular line in the underside of the vehicle and rough fiberglass sticking through the paint. Did not show up on CarFax.
So unless someone has a car that simply melted down I believe I can claim the Hangar Queen Award.
YOU GOTTA LOVE THE CAR
