If you have a steady hand you can fix your Bose amps yourself. I came across an article with step by step instructions on the ZR1 net. I gave it to a friend of mine who was in the TV repair business, so is familiar with electronics. He has a ZR1 and was sending his amps out for repair for $110 each. He did it himself at his family's TV repair shop and his cost was $4.00. Retail for you or I would be about $34.00. What a savings! PS: He drove my '99 hardtop and said "there is a difference"
