dead battery

I have a 2004 with 10,000 kms. It has sat all winter but I have started it a couple of times. Now whenever I get in after it has been sitting a couple of days I have dead battery. I have traced it down to dash lights staying on all the time. Any suggestions?

In trying to turn up the brightness on the HUD I mistakenly turned it on and thanks to a member this solved the proble.

I would buy a new battery NOW. Not good for the battery to go empty so many times.

EDIT: Buy a battery tender.

you have a dead battery. buy a new one. also get a battery tender or disconnect the positive cable when you put it up "for the winter".

I have to ask an obvious question about your lights being on - it is not because the dash light brightness **** is turned to the position that the inside lights stay on is it?
