I've had my car for almost a month now and I can't stop spending my money. It started off slow...a Corvette hat, key chain, t-shirt...key fob protectors...then ragtop care kit, rear plate frame, front plate surround....a die-cast...SS titanium black letter inserts. I haven't even made my first car payment yet. My wife will kill me if she finds out what I've been spending, I'll end up having to sleep in the car. Actually I wouldn't mind that. Is this normal?
for some reason that story sound so common, my wife thinks i only spent 2k this winter, thing about it is i did everything in my sig this winter. My wife would also kill me if she found out.
at least you are still on the light stuff!!! wait till ya move up to the hard core drugs, uh......i.. uh... i mean hard core mods. there is a mod doctor though. its either kick the habbit on your own or move this in for a month or so. what one do you think you can talk the wife into
Normal, I have been doing it for 30 years. Every time I get a Mid America catalog I look through the whole thing like there is something new in there other than the cover.
I am deployed right now and there is nothing to do over here (except coming on here) but I have $$ growing in the acct and all I can think about is "what can I buy next"

Wait until you start "jonesing" for the big stuff like suspension, wheel and tire packages, interior make overs, etc.
I've been in your shoes, and after almost 4 years, I am at a point that the car finally looks, sounds, rides, handles, and drives the way I want it and I haven't ever touched the performance aspect of it......then you're talking BIG $$$$$$$!
Don't worry about it, buy your wife a nice Corvette shirt and get her involved in your addiction.

You haven't even started yet. Intake, exhaust, wheels, tires, brakes, HIDs, headers, cam, F/I, complete Vette Essentials interiors... Eventually you can spend the cost of the car all over again.

I don't see any Zaino on that list, you can easily dump a few dollars that way. Oh and lots of specialized towels.
Our family just got our new C6 on monday night we have spent 1100 on it already today at West Coast Corvette (amazing Facility BTW, if you get a chance, go check it out). That reminds me I'll try to post up some pictures of the trio of Corvettes that we have tommorow. While at WCC I found a few things for my car, I went there with no intention of buying anything, but couldnt resist. I walked out with a console Cushion, a billiard styleShift ****, New Chrome sill plates, A steering wheel decal, and the airbag corvette Lettering, I probably would have bought more but I only had 300.
