Why does my vette bring out the worst in the odd driver?
Last nite I took her out for a short cruise just before the rain hit again
Three lights in a row I line up next to a pontiac vibe (yes a vibe)and three times he takes off like a bandit when the light goes green I thought I just imagined it the first time but no.The funny thing is with my borla exhaust this guy probably went home and told the wife how he spanked some guy in a vette.

It's part of the fun, I had a young man in a Passat or is a Pissant VW wagon this past week. It was nice, lime green, lowered, tinted windows, and big muffler. He took me 3 lights in a row as well. It was a nice evening and the wife was with me and the top was down. I couldn't help but laugh, I tried to hide the laugh, but I'm sure he saw it.

Get used to it. Every ricer and mustang within 10 miles pops out of the woodwork every time I take the Vette out.

I am convinced that a) about half of them truly think they are faster and b) the other half just want to see a corvette get on it.
I was at my dad's cabin down near Galveston Tx the other day and his neighbor walked over as I was pulling away to go to the store. He walks up and says "Can you light the tires up when you pull out"?
I always ignore redlight challenges because if no other reason (other the whole legality issue), I am always scared one of these idiots will light up his tires and slide into my car.

I think you guys need to stop resting and put the hammer down on them a few times so they will not grow up with this false belief. A whole generation of ricers and kids are growing up not respecting the vette...
