Z06, C5 engine? Big differences?
Are there any major differences between the Z06 engine and a C5 engine with respect to block, cam or heads? Compression ratios? i have a C5 and want to put heads and a cam on it and I am looking for info and a bench mark to shoot for. Well to shoot way over if I can.

Pretty much the entire engine is different (minus the intake). If you are modding however, skip the stock LS6 stuff and go big. For real tech advice, check out the Gen III forum at www.ls1tech.com .
