Default which engine covers to use?

I know Im far off from covering up my 427, but I'm just debating on which engine covers to use. Being deployed makes you think of these things more than normal

What do you think? nassau blue, black or red? It'll be covering an L76 intake.

Carbon fiber. If I had to pick between your three choices though, I would pick Nassau Blue.

I would go with Nassau blue.

I went with matching spiral gray on my engine parts. It doesn't really stand out, but nassau blue would!

First choice would be red, but I would also look at Electron blue. If you really want them to stand out, take a look at some of Autobuff's work

Now I'm starting to veer towards nassau, now that I've seen that. I wouldnt want the 'retro' thing though, but I imagine I would have to get creative with the covers because of the 5.7 thing. Would C6 Z06 covers work? I bet they'd fit atop the L76 intake without trimming as well...

How in the world did you get those overflow tanks and stuff primed and painted also? And the calipers? That looks totally kick ***!

1. You can stay simple by leaving the black ones on.

2. You can put red on & have people asking if or why you put z-06 covers on.

3. You can do this a DIY project:

OK, I'm thinking I might end up picking up a set of C6 Z06 fuel rail covers and having them painted in nassau, then have the lettering done in black. I'm considering this now, since I have a little crack in the rear bumper that a friend of mine who works at a bodyshop will be fixing. Good time to paint that (as well as anything else) nassau!

I still cant find anything that says if the C6 Z06 covers will fit onto an L76 intake...that would work nice since I like them better, and they say 7.0L as well. But it sucks because I want a set that doesnt have the 'LS7' on it.

I worry about the stupidest $hit lol

I'm thinking I could just use the LS2 covers and since the script is the same, use a set of vinyl lettering for an LS7 and put those on there...? Then I would just have to cover up the LS2 part on the cover which shouldnt be too hard...
