Default Need some help/advice...

I have a 2002 ZO6 and need to do some routine maintenance to it. I have been reading much on the forum for choice of fluids to use for diff and trans. The next thing is what brakes to go with: I need pads and rotors on all 4 corners. I do my trans/diff fluids religiously at 10-15K miles ( I dont track at all) and everything has come due at once at 35K (sux for my pocket) here's where I need help. I have used GM reccomended fluids the past two times and want to change

Fluids for Trans and Diff: Royal Purple, Redline, Mobil 1 or GM?!?!
Brakes: GM ZO6 pads (any other suggestions?) with the Brembo cross drilled from tirerack or Baer Eradispeed's from Ecklers (any other suggestions)?!?!

Also, last time I had the dealership drain my trans and diff because they said witout their "tool" (bladder to push other fluid out) I would not get all the fluid out. The mechanic is an aquantenace and I felt comfortable with him and having the responsibility on the dealership. I do all my other vehicles on my own is what they say true?

Seriously any of the fluids from that list will be fine. Personally I would stick with Mobil 1 or Royal Purple (they are recognized for their Industrial gear oils)

If your transmission is a manual, both the tranny and the diff have drains in the bottom. I would not worry about any residual fluid left in the system. Continue to DIY and save your money.

For the brakes, if you are just looking for a street setup, what you suggest is fine. Many many folks do the eradispeeds and seem to be very happy with them.

For pads, the Z06 pads are fine, but dealers seem to charge an arm and a leg for them (at least around here). When I had stock calipers I went with the Hawk HPS for my street set due to cost. Just a suggestion.
