you probably have a slow leak along the bead, get a tire palce to clean the bead area and remount the tire.

That what I did when my car sat for a few weeks

car has been to the dealer a few times for this, they cannot find a leak. have had the sensors reset also. it usually loses about ten lbs of pressure.

could be the stem nut....also dealers are not too great at finding leaks, suggest what Zilla recommended. Have a GOOD tire shop check it for you.

Park car in hyperbaric chamber. Tires will no longer lose air.

find the leak...
Use a good tire shop...
I had one that was elusive and it turned out to be a tear in the bead....

When I had the tire shop check the tire you could barely see the bubbles from the very slow leak. The bubble looked like as if they were created by the applicator to apply the soapy water.

I would lose 10 psi in 2 weeks.

Short of the "hyperbaric" chamber trick....I bought a 5 Gallon Air Tank from an auto parts store and had Costco fill it with nitrogen. I have the Michelin PS2's and I use the tank to keep them up to pressure. I am not saying that the nitrogen will effect your pressure loss. Just the tank for air replacement until you find the leak. The tank is very inexpensive. You can also check Harbor Frieght as well for the air tank. I believe I got mine at a Pep Boys or Kragen...Good Luck

Is it all of them?

You might want to check the valve stems for air seepage!

If not you might be having a small object puncture in the tire somewhere! Do a very close inspection with soap and water and add a little extra air pressure for the test only!

Then if you find where it is leaking from reduce pressure to stock setting and fix as needed!

Thanks,Matt

I had a hairline cract in a OEM wheel. Tank of water showed the leak. Replaced rim and no longer a problem. Friend had a bad schrader (sp?) valve and it did the same thing.

I have had to put tires into a tank of water before to find a small leak. I would think 10 lbs/week would be easy enough to find though.

There are several good answers for this problem.

1. Don't let the car sit in the garage

2. Sell the car (it is obviously a lemon).

3. Take it to the dealer for the Bad Tire Leak recall.

or

4. (the best answer here, as many have already told you) Find the leak and get it repaired. It is the least costly and easiest to do ( other than not letting the car sit, which shouldn't be done anyway, regardless of the tire leak).

It's just a small leak the is probably around the valve stem and a small punture. Nothing that is not ordinary to all tires, not just Corvette tires.

I wouldn't go to a dealer, I'd go to a tire shop!
