I recently purchased a Vararam with every intention of installing it myself. However, I neither have the time nor the facility to be able to do it. To you guys who have had it installed, how much did you pay a reputable garage that workes on vette's.....just looking for an estimate. Thanks in advance

SlowHawk did mine for around $60. What area are you in?
I'm up in Connecticut. I know of some reputable places, just trying to get a feel for the cost
I had some other estimates that were around $150-200 for the install. Don(SlowHawk) gave me an awesome price but he's in Mass. so it would be a bit of a drive for you. If you are anywhere near ECS, I would suggest giving them a call. They have some great guys working there and their prices are very reasonable. They gave me a great deal on a header install and tune.
hey jpandes... your user name looks very familiar. Don't you have a Silver FD? Did you also switch? lol
Yup, I sold the FD after my third motor crapped out...
I thought I'd never sell that car(had it for 10yrs). I've only had the Z06 since November and I don't miss the Rx7 at all.
Yeap... Same here...!!! Although this was my 2nd FD on a Ported Motor with a Single...

the instructions that came with it were total crap (the pics were horrible photo copy black and white)
i started doing it myself, then got too frustrated...it was a b1tch to install
lots of small hard to reach screws at weird angles.......i gave up, put the stock back together, and took it to a local vette shop that did it in like 30 minutes...i forget how much they charged me though, but it was worth it
the guy at the shop laughed when i told him, and he said that every single vararam they installed was after the owner started installing it and gave up
I just put mine in today - it has been sitting in my garage for 1 1/2 years!!
My buddy and I did it and it did take approximately 3 hours of figuring it all out...not crazy about the fit/finish of it but have heard good things and hope to notice some results.
