I would not spend more than $100 bucks on one. The photo quality is quite good. 480 lines is plenty good enough. I've tried several different kinds and can't tell the difference. My bullets are on 24 x7 and only had one failure in 2+ years in all kinds of weather and heat.

Worked in catching a slimball theif once.... WATCH IT ---- yeah - it was unlocked - specifically using as "bait" so the boys in blue could finally catch these ****** - MUG SHOT which they did about a month later..

I got an AMAZING suction cup at fry's, i used it and mounted it to the side of my car with a sony cybershot camera (not cheap camera) but I made this video, and this thing didn't even move!
