touch up paint
My chin spoiler has a scrape and I have a few white dots on a few parts of my car. My car is a 2000 navy metalic color. The white shows up real good even if they are specks.
In the ol days I'd go to an auto store and get a small bottle of touch up paint. Where do you guys go to get a small quantity of paint to touch up your car ?

I have an 03 Medium Spiral Gray Metallic coupe and needed some touch up paint. Bought a bottle from a dealer and it wasn't even close. Looked like pewter and was real obvious next to the car's color.
I found out about this site while looking for some touch up paint for my BMW. The match was perfect. So I ordered some touch up for my vette and it was a perfect match as well - including the metallic flecks in the paint. They sell a kit that has the touch up paint, a clear coat, some paint solvent and a liquid rubbing compound that makes the repair totally smooth and undetectable when complete. Paint comes in touch pens, bottles or as a spray.
When you order, you can choose from the color charts on the site but you also enter your VIN number. The match is perfect.

Wish I'd have known about that place.
I got mine from Mid America and after putting it on I've noticed it doesn't quite match. I had some bad scrapes under the chin and wanted to cover them up. It did the job in making them unnoticeable (unless you are on the ground looking for them) but the color doesn't match perfect.
I got a small touch up bottle at the Chebby dealer in the little pen-like can that includes a brush in Anniversary Red. I think it was $8.00 including a $1.00 "hazardous material shipping fee". It matched great.
Look on your glove box door (on 2000/up) and look for the code that's in the middle of the bottom line. (example U382E) If your RPO codes are on the driver's side rear compartment door (in older C5's) then look there.

Thanks for the info! I bought the 1 oz kit for my Medium Spiral Grey Metallic Car! This should fix all the chips that I don't like being on the car!
