Default Do you miss your C4?

I think the C5s are very nice, but do you miss your C4 at all??
How is your C5 holding up compared to your previous C4?

No, don't miss them. Wife crashed both C4's. She's gone. C5 is holding up much better!

I drove a 96 C4 for 4.5 years. It was a great car to me.

I have been in the C5 for 14 months now and have no regrets.

Default I dont really miss it that much....

I had a 1996 auto coupe, yellow and it was my daily driver for 4 years.
I traded it in for a 1998 auto - black, wow what a difference a few years make!
My '98 is now my daily driver for over 3 years now and boy is it a great drive!
First of all it is way easier to get in and out of than the C4, no having to climb over the hump. the top comes off without a wrench - nice touch!!! It just seems like an easier car to get along with daily. Don't get me wrong I loved the C4 I just love the C5 MORE!!!

Both cars were/are realatively trouble free although the C4 had major water leak problems with the roof - that cost a decent amount to get fixed, but aside from that not much difference with reliability.
Hey they are both Corvettes!!!!

I drove my 1991 C4, daily driver for sixteen years before trading it in with 110,000 miles for my 2003 C5 three months ago. The 5 is a more refined car and much more powerful. However, I do miss the harder ride of the 4 (OK, not over railroad tracks, cobblestone or blades of grass). Unfortunately I bought the 5 second hand and it does not have selctive ride control. I do plan to beef up the suspension in the future. Other than that, I love them both equally. The only reason I will eventually sell the 5 is to get a 6 when this one reaches high enough milage.

Same here.

Love my 01 C5, but I still enjoy driving my real sweet 85 C4 with the 4+3 transmission.

My first Corvette was an 84, and I don't miss it one single bit. That car was a nightmare! It had so many electrical and mechanical problems with it that I practically had to give it away when I sold it, I was young and foolish when I bought it and did not have it properly checked out by a mechanic beforehand.

Default Nope!

My 92 was a nice low mileage car, but my MY 02 is much nicer, easier to get into and out of, and even rides much better. Also the 02 has dual airbags, just in case.

I have my ZR-1 and a 99 A4 Coupe.

They are two totally different cars. Can't compare them, they are apples and oranges.

My first C4 was a 96 LT-1 Automatic. This car is definitely not in the same league as the ZR-1 or my C5. However, it was a great entry level Corvette for me.

Something about the feel of my 96 LT4 was great though. It seemed to have more "personality" than my c5. My c5 seems almost too refined....
Don't get me wrong, given the choice of the 2 cars I'll keep my 00, but I do miss the LT4 from time to time.

I don't miss my 85, but I kick myself regularly for getting rid of my 91....not to say that I don't like my C5, but that 91 was the most non-problematic vehicle of ANY make that I've ever owned.

Yeah, I miss the C4 some. It was a great autocross car, and I loved the mn6. The C5 is holding up better than the C4, but it only has half the miles.
