2002 Corvette 21,000 Miles Z06 SLP Z07 Package / Chrome Wheels, Hurst 6-spd @ 31,500$ Also im not sure what all the SLP package includes maybe someone can school me on that.. all i know is that it was part of a wheel and tire package.. Is this a decent price or should i try to get the price down lower?? Quotes anyone?
Here is the SLP website. http://www.slponline.com/browse_list.asp
I don't see the Z07 package listed there but you can call them and inquire. The price is OK depending on condition and if the car was tracked or drag raved often. At 21K miles it will need tires soon unless they have been recently replaced. The Eagle F1's don't usually last more than 25K miles. Offer $29K-$30K and see what happens.

SLP had a ZL7 package not a Z07. There are two different packages, here are the links to both of them. They are the same thing except one has the Loudmouth exhaust and the other has the Powerflow exhaust.
Alright guys/gals, small change in plans.. I went to check out the car today and found out some very interesting things.. First off it is not a Z06, i noticed that when i pulled up when i saw the glass roof, Here is a short list of modifications on it.. It is a 2002 w/18inch Z06 chrome wheels, stick shift, with 22k miles, it has a corsca exhaust with slp header and xpipe package, varraam air intake, and a hurst clutch (able to handle up to 1000hp) and the dealer said the owner had a performance shop put in some pistons and cams, don't have the specs on that yet. Overall, it was dyno tuned, and puts out 500 rwhp.. No im not genious but he also said he put over 20k mods into the car.. it had some custom tailights to, not euros but something else. and the engine bay was just covered with carbon fiber, and other little chrome covers.. So what do u think? It doesnt add up to me why someone would spend 20k on a coupe to mod it to 500 hp instead of buying a z06, also if there was 20k spent wouldn't he have gone with turbos/supercharger? ive seen those kits out there for under ten grand? Info input please.. They want 31,900$ for the car, which turns out not to be a z06.. Thoughts...
I would definitely ask for proof of all the work done. This dealership sounds like a scam. Thay advertised a Z06 and it's actually a C5? Did you drive it? Does it feel like a lot more HP than a stock C5? I'd stay away from it. There's plenty of modded C5's for sale on the forum.

People will tell you here you never get back your mod money, in fact and pure stock Vette well taken care of can bring in more money. The only way someone can get their mod money back it to remove the mods, put the car back to stock and sell them off, or find a buyer who wanted to mod the car the same way. If you like the way the car is modded offer them $28K and see if they deal.
They wouldn't let me drive it unless one of them went with me.. they said the z06 was a typo in the add.. it is one of the SLP ZL7 packages i checked the headers and such and they are SLP.. I will try to get reciepts, i started it up and it sounds like a pace car.. Its the loudest vette i have ever heard. I will keep you all in tune.
