Default Security light ?

When I got in my car yesterday after a baseball game, the security light was on. Does this mean somebody tried to open a door while locked?

If so, you should have heard the alarm horn for about 2 minutes. The light should always come on flashing when you open the door without the key in the car. If you lock the car with the fob or door lock button with the door open, the light should come on steady, then when you close the door, the light should go out. Was the light flashing? Was the light already on before you opened the door? If so, possibly a door or hatch wasn't closed all the way when you armed the system. The light would stay on steady until that condition was met. After that, I'm out of ideas.

This man speaks wisdom!

Do a trial run with some of these options and let us know!

Is your light flashing now, like it would normally or is it still steady?

Let us know what comes of the tests!

Thanks,Matt

Thanks for the info, but I'm still not sure what happened.
I armed it with the fob and was to far away from it to hear anything if the alarm did go off. The light was on steady when I started it, but is now off.
Nothing is wrong, so I'll just let it go.
Thanks.
