I just tried the tip in adjustment to get rid of some wind noise on the drivers side. I followed the write up but noticed no difference at all, even after turning the screw as many as 10-12 times I got no change. Anyone else experiecnce this? Is there a secret that Im missing to this
I did the tip in on my passenger window (2000 Coupe) and noticed some difference...I used to get serious whistle at 55+mph, now it doesn't whistle until around 75-80+. Sometimes it whistles at lower speeds depending on how the wind hits the seal. I think I have to replace the weather stripping to get it completely solved. I followed the write-up too, so I think it just depends on the weather strip.
One thing I did notice was that, in addition to turning the small screw, I had to tip the larger bolt (the one under the rubber access plug near the front of the door) as far toward the OUTSIDE of the car as possible (pushes the window closer to the frame) and then tighten the nut--I think this made a big difference. Don't know if this will work for you or not...good luck
You might want to check the little tab that prevents the window from bowing out in high speeds. I had a wind noise problem and after taking it to the dealer 3 times for window adjustment and still having wind noise I noticed the tab was sticking out farther on the window that was making noise. I took a rubber mallet and hit it in a few times and now no window noise.

May or may not apply,,,,,,,,but I get some wind noise on passenger window when I switch hvac from recirculate to fresh air in. The added pressure of the outside air pushes the window out just enough! My $0.02!
