OK, I spent 12 rain soaked hours at the Indy 500 where we had 3 added hours of partaking in suds. Today I wake up with nice little hangover and decide to spent some time upside down under my dash installing a CLB from Corvettes of Houston. After 30 min. the job was done, took a quick spin to make sure everythings OK then washed it. Needless to say my hangover is gone and all is right with the world.

Exactly what I did as well . Took me 40 min with a hangover... due to the damn interior temp sensor that wouldn't come out.
That was the one spot that took a little time. Just could not get the cover away from the dash very smoothly around that sensor, but finally came free.
Did you get the "pull key and wait 10 seconds" message on the initial startup? I just got it the first time, then never again.
I just did mine this weekend. It took me forever to unhook the loop on the connector. I guess I should have tried it with a hangover, it would have probably gone quicker!
Sorry to hear about the rain at the Indy. I watched on TV and the vert Vettes had their tops down in the rain!!! Sheesh...
I found the hardest part of the BYPASS was finding the connector to plug it into - so others know - it's tucked up somewhat closer to the steering column behind other wires and plugs, and not located adjacent to the key ... the forum walkthru instructions are 10 times better than the instructions that come with it from Corvetttes Houston. imho
The temp sensor takes a bit of skill lining it up during re-assembly.
NOTE: some of the other wires under the dash have a foam tube sheaf around the wires to prevent chaffing on sharp metal - just like jet fighters have - I've never seen this on the other 35 other cars I've owned.
I did not have any K harness to deal with. The only recall the car had done on it was the reprogram in 04.
When I got the "pull key" message on first use of the ignition I just pulled key out and tried again and never got the message again. I was prepared to pull fuse 25 but never had too.
I found the C of Houston instructions pretty vague also, so looked at several how to web sites from forum sticky in tech section and downloaded a real good explanation.

That sensor is nothing but a pain in the a** With those long skinny "clips" that thing is a design that sure wasn't meant to be de-installed very often. That idiotic thing is the toughest part of tearing the whole front out IMO
