Yep, any solution offered for this? These screws are too short to replace the door jams set of 3 on each side???

How about a comment from the vendor on this?

Also, I just drove in my first rain since putting these new screws on less than a week ago. The ones lining the trunk are already starting to rust. Can you recommend a product (with link) to address this?

I was thinking of ordering a set but reading that the door screws are too short and the hatch ones are starting to rust already? Gulf, any comment on this. Is this an isolated case? Just checking before I place my order.

Thanks ...Rocket

Sorry we didn't see this post earlier. If the screws weren't coated with clear coat when they were installed, they will rust in the screw head. Any one who ordered screws and didn;t receive these instructions or have screws which have developed rust, please email me at:mbarron@gulfcoastvettes.com and we'll be happy to send replacement screws. please indicate how many you need. We are still exploring several options as well as looking for new suppliers for these screws. Just to clear the air. These are not the same screws you can find at Lowes, but the quality of the chrome in the screw head is not as good as we'd like. Our goal is to find a better quality product that doesn't require a clear coat. Please let us know if you need a replacement. Michael
