sounds like the place to go when I am ready for some mods. This might be a stupid question, but do they do paint as well or are they strickly dyno/tune/engine mods?

While that may be YOUR opinion, let me share mine... We PAY to advertise here, so if I see someone posting a question and getting suggestions about shops that I know both our WORKMANSHIP AND TUNING is far superior then I believe I have every right to "plug" our shop whether you think it is tacky or not.

LWA, while they do some general LS work, does not specialize in the market we are in...

MTI of Atlanta is a direct competitor, but I feel we offer better service, honesty, reputation, and more performance for your $. Just one example of why I feel this way is our Corvette Tech David Fulcher, has been working on Corvettes exclusively for over 22 years and has a VAST working knowledge of any make/model Vette you can imagine. MTI has "apprentices" from our tech. Experience counts

[/QUOTE]

I expect there are many opinions in the Atlanta area on who is good. Suggesting another forum sponsor as being inferior to you is another tacky move on your part.
My point was this gentleman had asked for suggestions and I gave mine of MTI Racing or Lamar Walden. I was offended that you then hooked onto my post with a "plug" for your business. I really have no knowledge of your shop, hence why would I suggest it? Your actions here speak volumes on your business acumen.

Best of luck to you and MTI...... I wish I felt the need to defend my comments/business ethics, but our customers speak volumes for us and know we strive to be the best in the business.

Dude, just drop it already. Reality is, that Vengeance Racing is the new shop in town, with the best techs, customer service, and honesty in the business. They have the most reasonable prices in the business and are not out to make every little red cent possible. The crew at Vengeance are never too busy to take the time to walk you around their shop and explain all the possible ways to get to where u want to be without wasting your money. Did I mention that their shop is HUGE, CLEAN, ORGANIZED? There have already been quite a few customers speak their mind about other shops that were mentioned who were not pleased with their experiences and are now Vengeance customers. You get a whole lot more than just what you are paying for with Vengeance. You get excellent work, honesty, trust and friendships, and that is something that cannot be bought.

Is Waldens out 20 in Douglasville?? Exactly where is Vengence in Cumming. I live in Gainesville and Cumming is a lot closer. I need a tune on my 03 Z. How much would it cost and what improvements would I get??

Vengeance is not far off GA 400 Exit 13. Take a left off the exit if you are going north and then take a right onto Castleberry Rd about a mile and a half down the road and then continue on Castleberry until it becomes a four lane. After it becomes a four lane you will see a Brand New Fire Station on your right. Take a right there, it's Castleberry Industrial Dr and Vengeance is the second or third building on your right. I'm pretty sure they have a sign out front.

As far as what you will gain with a tune? It depends on your mods. If you have headers and a CAI you might see 15whp with a tune. Ron will correct me if I'm wrong. I would say you would probably get to the mid 380s whp.

Thanks for the good directions Exit 13 is one past 14 going South. I'll be coming from around Dawsonville area. And to my bud in Braselton( speed trap) my car is red with 1 sticker on back window of a horse and rider jumpig some rails. I have done no mods yet just unmodded wondering if a tune alone would "wake it up"?? Thanks

I have never had anything done at VR, but 90% of the reviews I've heard about them are great.

I've never had anything done at MTI, but about 50% of the things I've heard about them are not so great.

I've had two dyno tunes on two different cars at LWA. I've been very satisfied with both.

On what I've heard, I would recommend VR or LWA.

My only experience is with LWA.

I have had first hand experience with all three tuners and if I had to do it again, I would only go to Ron and Mike @ Vengeance. If you want any info about my decision, you can PM me if you like.

Now thats straight up class right there. The class and professionalism in this thread is a joke. Plugging your own shop is fine but quoting somebody elses recommendations and plugging your own shop is indeed tacky. I was going to post a plug for Vengeance but after reading some of Vengeance customers posts I'd rather not associate myself with them. You would think the "leading" shop wouldn't need to badmouth other shops in the area. Results should speak for themselves.

I couldnt agree more... The people posting above are not affiliated with Vengeance Racing, they are simply overly satisfied customers. We strive to have the best customer service in the business. No need to bash anyone, our work speaks for itself.

As for the reference about results speaking for themselves... Looks like they are

Vengeance Racing -17 Happy Customers
Lamar Walden-2 Happy Customers
MTI of Atlanta-4 Happy Customers

Looks to me as if the results are speaking for themselves!!!!

Thanx again for all of your continued support as we strive to be the #1 speed shop in the southeast!!!!!!!!
