Wow, a newbie question here. I hate to re-post, but couldnt find these answers in other areas. I have a 97 vette, just curious about the ride control switch options (perf, tour, sport). What do the different options do for the vert? What is best for gas mileage? Suspension? More power? Any information would be great. And since the button is right next to the switch, what does the traction control button do?
Newbie out.
You have the F45 setup and I liked mine until one of the shocks bushing fell apart, the replacement for one shock was more than the Konis I put on Around town I put is in the tour mode and for Hill Country or spirited driving I went to the performance mode to stiffen up the ride, I never used the middle position on my Vette
The switch only controls the suspension. I didn't notice much difference in mine, so I swapped it out for Bilstein Sport shocks among other sus mods. If a F45 shock goes bad=very expensive to replace.
The trac control button turns the trac control off. Don't know off hand if a 97 had active handling, if so this button controls it also.
