Not the best shot, but it's been raining for a while and I haven't had a chance to get a better pic for ya'.
Silver vette, Silver painted wheels (no, that's not gunmettal... it's just brake dust... I mentioned I need a better pic), and color-matched Breathless non-pops. Overall, I'm very pleased with it, but I may end up adding some black stripes.... I dun'no..

Hey guys, I'm admittedly a newbie to this forum, so forgive the length of this post. I just purchased a set of chrome C6 style Z06 wheels for my '98 (sorry, no pics yet, but they are the split spoke style just like a lot of the other pics here). When I bought the wheels, I also got some useful info on wheel fitting.
My new wheels are the stock 17 x 8.5 and 18 x 9.5 size. They were made by Factory Reproductions. I bought them through a local Discount Tire store. The guy there told me it was important that the wheel offset was between 49 and 65 in order for the wheels to bolt right on a C5. He said there other similar wheels out there that don't fall within that range. Maybe that explains why some people are running into issues.
Are they aluminum or steel the chrome looks like it is aluminum was wondering what could help restore the shine seems very dull like aluminum looks thanks kevin
