Default Header Advice/Help

I currently have a set of TPiS Headers on my 03' Z06 and after a cam was installed it dynoed 405 rwhp. I am going to add a set of TFS heads and was wondering if I changing to one of the more popular headers would make a difference.

Are the TPiS Headers going to hold me back any and if so please give me thoughts and opinions on how much. This stuff is making me

I have searched and can't seem to find any pertinent info to help make an informed decision.

I really appreciate any and all advice given.

All the vendors will tell you that you will gain quite a bit more, I for one had the TPIS on my setup when it made 742 RWHP and when I went to the AR Headers I went to 749 RWHP, so was the cost worth it, not in my case for the power gain, but the sound of my Vette with AR Headers on it as the only change is 100% better, so if you are happy with your sound with TPIS stay with them, if you want a deeper sounding exhaust note than upgrade to the AR Headers

Thanks for the reply. I am not unhappy with my TPiS Headers or the rest of the exhaust since I bought my Tubi system. I really want to maximize my mod dollars and was told that the Kooks headers would make more power than my current setup. I am glad the hear of real experiences with these headers and any others that may post. By the way, how would you describe the sound differences between TPiS and your AR's at high rpm?

My experience on the change was as I disclosed not what I expecte as far as hp gains, so if you like your setup save the approx $1300 or so and keep the TPIS, now my AR's are deeper and much louder at high RPM, but then I run no cats, but then I did not before
