Default GHL exhaust question...............

Hi - I'm looking for a more deeper sounding exhaust than the Z06 Ti exhaust I have on my base coupe. I'm not sure about the Borlas as I don't really like drone. What would be a compromise between Ti and Borla "GHL Bullets, Magnum, or Magnum Plus". Oh- I do like loud, just not too loud.

Thanks,
TonyP.

Did you look into Corsa PaceCar?

The deepest toned ones I've heard, that aren't excessively loud, are Magnaflow. Much lower pitched than my previous Borla Stingers.

I love my GHL Bullets! They have a very deep sound, and I don't notice any drone. The Magum Plus are 2-tip and use a 6" can. Bullets are, essentially, a 4-tip Magnum Plus. The Magnums use 5" cans and are slightly louder (2 or 4 tip).

The best prices I've seen are at CCA...a forum vendor.

Tony, I went through the same decision process re: exhausts. I started with the Borla and then B&Bs (both had too much drone with my H/C and headers), then I went to the Z06 Ti (too quiet). I finally went with the GHL Bullets - perfect balance of aggressive tone without the drone. Mike

I have the Granatelli system. It's pretty cheap and soundwise I give it an 8.5 out of ten. Rumbles when you get on it but in 6th at interstate speeds you hardly notice it.

The bad: Fitment can be a bear...it took me a while to get it lined up and tightened the way I wanted it but it seems (knock on wood) to be holding where I want it now.

For $475 shipped (group purchase) I can't imagine a better deal.

Great minds think alike...Stock, Corsa Indy's, Z06 Ti's and now GHL Magnum Plus (2 tip Bullets). I'm staying with these on my 403 = Perfect.

Thanks for the information - looks like GHL Bullets. Do the Bullets have the sound of Borla?

Thanks,
TonyP.

I put the GHL 6" Bullets on my Z and love it. NO drone and awesome sound. Can't wait to get my LG headers on and see how it changes the sound.

I have the GHLs 4 tips. Sound just like you want them to under 3000 RPMs, and scream powerful after that at WOT.

No drone here, but my top is down 99 % of the time.
