forza 2 - c5 representation

I believe this thread is for us.
I play from the bumper cam on most racing games so the rendering doesn't bother me much.
I haven't unlocked any other version though.

some of us have different hobbies than others.anyways...is the game a decent one? i ususally dont play driving games but i might for this one...
Obviously most of everyone on the forum drives a real one (c5) in real life , but in real life I cannot pit it against some of these cars and it's so much fun online you can play against people, friends, family. So far, it's awesome although the c5 representation not so much. Im using the C6Z06 for pretty much all of my races. The thing is a BEAST and pretty similar to what the real driving experience is like.
The sweetest thing about this game is that it allows you to use 4 screens (but you have to have 4 consoles and 4 tvs) to represent a 180 peripheral view and a rear view mirror.
I may wait to find some used deals on 360's to get a couple more consoles as this would be the ultimate driving simulator
Going to fry's now to get a force feedback wheel. Here is a good review link, and you'll see pics like belo where they setup the demo at the 12 hour American lemans earlier this year, and had official Ferrari team drivers play it. Reviews from those drivers came back very positive in realism, and they said that their lap times was almost exactly identical in the game as to what they resulted in real life on that same track.

I'm 43 and still play video games
I like driving games but I can't put down Gears of War yet. Summer is here now so don't play much, but when winter comes I'm all over Forza 2
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

The game even has Fikse and HRE as wheel manufactures for adding aftermarket rims to your car. Funny enough, there is a race C5 in the game that actually has black center CCW rims, but I can't find a way to buy them yet.
I'm using the MS force feedback wheel and a Playseat on a 60" 1080 Sony. Let's just say I haven't gotten to sleep before 3am since last Wednesday.

Forza 2 is awesome. Much more realistic than that Gran Turismo playstation garbage. The forza designers don't have fast and the furious on the brain. Corvette actually is better than a Supra in Forza, just like real life.
Also, it's fun to mod the heck out of a c5 to high hp but not change the factory tires! Very realistic results.

I think they look fine.
