Pics from stereo install-car disected
Couple pics from my install this weekend. Big thanks to DPG(Dave) and Pentavolo(Greg) for an outstanding job. We've still got some work to do, ie builiding a cover for the amps and adding some red LED's
Pardon the dirty interior
. Once I get it all buttoned up and purty I'll post more pics. I am really happy with the face-plate and how the headunit blended in. The Corvette Letters light up in red on the face plate..going to take pics also.
We still have to fine-tune the EQ, but even tuned flat for now, the speakers sound awesome.
I don't know much about stereo's etc..so don't ask about all the parts
We also installed the B&M Ripper shifter. I am still waiting on my Vette Essential shift boot and center counsel cover, so more pics when I get that.

EDI 6500's mounted in the doors on 3/4" baffles
Radio in the HUMOUNT dash kit, switch was installed in place of the cig lighter so it can be turned on and off and it looks killer

I have used elemental design for years. They are a very nice build house and offer great products for very nice prices. I have 2 E12As hitting hard in my blazer for 7 years, and and have no complaints. The 6500 are really nice comps, right now I am running CDTs (they make the edi comps) and they sound like no other speakers. The sound is just so natural. I recommend Ben and edesignaudio any day of the week.
